Jennie L. Davis, DO, is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty expertise in movement disorders. Dr. Davis specializes in diagnosis and treatment of tremor, cervical dystonia, hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm, Parkinson's disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple system atrophy, corticobasal syndrome, Lewy body dementia, spasticity and dementia. Dr. Davis is a fellowship trained movement disorder neurologist with expertise in deep brain stimulation (DBS) and botulinum toxin (Botox / Xeomin / Dysport / Daxiffy / Myobloc) injections. She is highly skilled in botulinum toxin injections for spasticity, cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and migraine as well as DBS patient selection and programming for Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor and dystonia
Dr. Davis provides comprehensive subspecialty neurological care to patients with movement disorders. She works closely with patients and families to develop a customized treatment plan to meet each patient’s unique needs and goals. She recognizes the importance of treating the whole patient. By addressing both the motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease as well as the psychosocial dynamics of living with a chronic illness she strives to improve quality of life.
Dr. Davis is from Merritt Island, Florida. She moved to Maple Valley, Washington in 2016. After working in a hospital based neurology practice for 6 years she opened her own neurology practice. Dr. Davis earned a Doctorate in Osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida after graduating cum laude from University of Florida with a bachelors of science degree. Dr. Davis did her internal medicine internship, neurology residency and fellowship training in movement disorders at Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Davis and her team at Maple Valley Movement Neurology work collaboratively with patients, families and their care team to help patients live an active and full life. Dr. Davis looks forward to helping patients understand their diagnosis and develop a tailored treatment plan to meet their goals.
